Dr. Che-Chun (Cary) Lin is a Full Professor of the Department of Quantitative Finance at National Tsing Hua University. And he was appointed as the Dean of the College of Technology Management effective from August, 2019. As the Deputy Director of University Development he is in charge of the investment and portfolio management of all university’s endowment funds. During his service as the Director of International Affairs, he initiated and led the college to receive its first AACSB accreditation.
Dr. Lin was the Founding Director of the Master of Finance and Banking program and has recently established the Ph.D. in Finance program at National Tsing Hua University. He has over twenty years of research and teaching experiences in the areas of real estate finance, asset securitization, and financial engineering, with particular concentration on pricing mortgage-backed securities, mortgage servicing contracts, and reverse mortgages. He published 3 books in areas of securitizations and financial management and many SSCI indexed articles in both finance and real estate journals. His online Financial Management course has achieved the first MOOCs in Taiwan by accumulating over 200,000 enrollments across the Strait.
Dr. Lin actively participated in AsRES since year 2000 and led the program organization for the 2008 Shanghai annual conference. He was a president of the Chinese Society of Housing Studies from January of year 2019 to January of 2021. He is currently a vice president of the Asian Real Estate Society (AsRES).
