Congratulations! Professor Chung-Han Hsieh from the Department of Quantitative Finance Receives the 2025 Wu Ta-You Memorial Award from the National Science and Technology Council

The Wu Ta-You Memorial Award, established by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), aims to nurture young research talent, encourage the nation’s future academic leaders to dedicate themselves to scholarly pursuits, and honor the remarkable contributions of Dr. Wu Ta-You to the advancement of science and technology. The award is presented to researchers under the age of 42 who meet the qualifications for serving as a principal investigator of NSTC-funded research projects, representing a prestigious recognition of outstanding young scholars.

Professor Hsieh, currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Quantitative Finance, specializes in Stochastic Systems, Systems and Control Theory, and Financial Engineering. He has previously received the university’s Outstanding New Faculty Research Award and Distinguished Teaching Award, demonstrating excellence in both research and teaching. Receiving the Wu Ta-You Memorial Award not only affirms Professor Hsieh’s exceptional academic achievements but also brings great honor to the College of Technology Management.
